September//Summer 1995
It's still summer, but fall is quickly approaching. This year, it seems like autumn is to arrive early, what with it being chiller than usual. It's not cold enough to take a heavy coat around, but be sure to have a light sweater in tow. The weather has been unpredictable lately.

AJ laughed, "Yeah, well..." Then she realized what he was doing. Stalling. "Stop stalling, Malfoy, you're going to have to tell me eventually, you know." She told him, putting her hands on her hips defiantly. She raised an eyebrow, planning on putting her emotional tendencies behind them both.

"See I'm just a little smarter than you today. The more a stall, the more time I get to spend with you," he pointed out, taking her hands and removing them from her hips and holding them in his own. "I will steer you in the direction of what I saw, though. If you insist upon knowing..." That promise shouldn't be particularly painful to keep.

AJ raised her eyebrows, taking his hand and putting them around her waist, "Well, I guess I can help then, right?" She said with a smirk, matching alomst perfectly against the infamous Malfoy one. "Now what?" She asked, looking up at his slate gray eyes.

She was following this rather better than he'd expected. Now that is hands were around her waist, he tugged the girl toward him until they were only inches apart. "Now you just follow my lead," he said softly. He was, of course, a teenage boy. His first instinct was to kiss her passionately, leading in the general direction that guys his age really wanted. That didn't lead her toward what he'd seen, though. Gently, he kissed her forehead and hugged her to his chest, his hand smoothing her hair. If he was really honest, he'd tell her that he never wanted to let her go.

At first, AJ had thought that this would lead to something more, I dunno, physical. And yet, when he hugged her and kissed her forehead, smoothing her hair and all, she kind of like that better. It was kinder and more...sincere? Yes, that was the right word. She looked up at him and kissed his cheek, "This is what you saw? In that case I kind of like this mirror."

Draco's smile was sad. He really did like this, but he knew that he wasn't supposed to. "Don't you know how much we're both supposed to hate this? How impossible this is?" He wasn't trying to be a jerk about the situation. It really was impossible what they were getting themselves into. She really ought to be more intimidated by what he'd seen in the mirror. The mirror knew more about him than he knew about himself. If she was what he was supposed to want more than anything... What he truly wanted... She really ought to know the implications.

She looked up at him then down again, "But no one can know about any of it. Your dad would kill you, and my friends would kill me." She couldn't forget about the Slytherins that would want to kill him. "But I still don't want to let go." And she didn't just mean at this moment.

Somehow, AJ had managed to voice pretty much everything Draco had been thinking. He wasn't sure how she'd gotten all of it out that easily, but he was glad that he wasn't the only one feeling this way. "I guess you better become a better liar, then," he teased, tilting her chin up and laying a soft kiss on her lips. "And letting go is not an option." His voice was barely a whisper, but he knew she could hear him.

She kissed him back, lightly, how had they gotten to this? Ah, yes, the mirror. Maybe it wasn't so far off. AJ smiled, "Wasn't planning on it." She mumbled into his chest, then kissing his chin and up ot his lips. He had a gorgeous jaw...

Draco let out a short laugh. Help her become a better liar? He wasn't sure if he could accomplish that. He could certainly spend a great deal of time trying, though. "I'll certainly make an effort." His hand played in her hair again. He had a bit of a thing for girls' hair. It was always so soft. One of the most feminine parts of a girl. He couldn't help but smile when she kissed him again. In this moment, it was the most perfect thing she could have done. He brought their lips together again, fully dreading the moment when they would have to part.

Audrey laughed lightly, it was amazing, the connection they'd established in just about an hour or so. She kissed him back, her lips soft on his displaying her affection for him at this moment. Where had this all come from? She was a Gryffindor. He was a Slytherin. It was strange and so, sooo amazing. It felt risky and daring.
"Good, because I could really use a professionals help," She teased him, referring to his lying abilities. When she lied, it was so obvious shge'd just given up on it.
